College Development Committee

The College Development Committee (CDC) is formed as per clause 97 of Maharashtra Public University Act No. VI of 2017. Meetings of CDC are held twice a year for regular review and follow-up of the various developmental activities in accordance with the Vision and Mission Statements, Long Term and Short Term Goals, Objectives and Policies framed.

The members list of the College Development Committee for Academic Year 2023 - 2024 to 2027- 2028, is shown in Table 9.3.

The functions of the College Development Committee (clause 97 of Maharashtra Public University Act No. VI of 2017) shall be to:

Recommend the Budget and Financial Statements proposed by the Finance committee for approval to the GoverningBody.
Consider and recommend the Proposals for Increase/variation in the Intake Capacity of various Courses.
Play a pivotal role in enhancing teaching-learning practices, strengthening industry-institute relationships, and refining assessment processes by actively engaging stakeholders, including students, faculty, alumni, industry partners, and regulatory bodies, to ensure holistic academic and professional growth.
Align the institute's Vision and Mission with long-term academic and infrastructural growth by formulating strategic policies that enhance curriculum development, faculty empowerment, industry collaboration, and student success.
