Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering (An Autonomous Institute) upholds a fair, transparent, and robust examination and assessment system to effectively evaluate the learning outcomes achieved across its various academic programmes. The institute has remained aligned with global best practices in assessment by adopting a credit-based system with relative and/or absolute grading, as deemed appropriate.

Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering (PCCoE) follows a continuous evaluation system comprising both internal and external assessments for awarding grades. Internal evaluation is carried out continuously by the faculty throughout the semester through formative assessments (FA), followed by a summative assessment (SA) at the end of each semester. The summative assessment examination is generally conducted in coordination with an external examiner to ensure transparency, objectivity, and academic rigor.

The Examinations Cell of our institute consistently ensures fairness, transparency, and efficiency in the conduct of all summative assessments, strictly following the well-defined evaluation procedures and the academic calendar announced at the beginning of each academic year.The Examinations cell manages key functions such as examination scheduling, conduct of examinations, and declaration of results, issuance of Grade cards, award of Passing certificates as and when candidates become eligible to receive the same ensuring full compliance with institutional policies and applicable regulatory frameworks. The examinations cell also issues the transcripts, Percentage conversion certificates, medium of instruction certificates, etc. on student’s demand.
