Denaryache Haath ghyave is a charity event that is organized by the students of PCCOE where in the students of the Art Circle Cell perform variuos activities and the revenue generated though this event of Rs. 50,000 is donated as a charity to needy organization ‘Srinath Varkari Sampraday Seva Mandal, Kolhapur’. This charity event was conducted for the third time on the 16th September 2019, Monday at Ramkrishna More Sabhagriha,Chinchwad from 5pm to 8pm. Students performed various arts like Poetry, Dance, Music, Singing, Acting, painting, photography etc. through various activities. Show was appreciated by all audience.
The ART Circle students of Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust‘s Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering had arranged a charity show “Denaryache haath Ghyave” on 23rd march 2016 in Ramkrishna More Auditorium, Chinchwad-Pune. The one act play ‘Trustbin’ which was performed in top level competitions like Purushottam and Gadkari Karandak was performed in this show. It exhibits the emotions and the struggle against prevalent inequalities in the society of 7th grade young girls. The play showcased the thought that” Trust is more important than money to survive”. Along with this, the show focused on the fundamental cause of Drought, farmer suicides and many other societal issues ‘The Rain’. The show has presented various songs, dance and fillers on ‘Rain’. The First ever Marathi Breathless Singer ‘Tejas Chavan’, Marathi Movie Lai Bhari Choreographer ‘Pankaj Sonavane’ ,well-known rangoli artist ‘Akshay Shahapurkar’ and many other Ex-students of Institute had performed their talent in the program. Audience has appreciated the tremendous efforts showcased by students. The show was successful in tickling Laughter buds but still touched hearts and soul of audience.
The money collected through sold Tickets was decided to be given to “NAAM Foundation”. The part of collected amount worth Rs. 50,000/- was delivered to Dr. Mahesh Patil, NAAM Foundation Representative. Shri. Bhaijan Kazi-PCET Trustee, Dr.A.M.Fulambarkar- Principal, Dr. J.S.Umale-Dean academics, Dr. Sheetal Bhandari- Dean Student Development and Welfare and Ms. Anagha Chaudhari- ART Circle Head were present along with other teaching, non-teaching faculty members, parents and students.
The entire program was directed by Mr. Akash Thite (Art Circle Student Coordinator) and wonderful anchoring was done by Ms. Swapna Kulkarni and Ms. Rutuja Pisal.
