One of the greatest strengths of pursuing Civil Engineering in Regional language (Marathi) is its direct relevance to professional practice. A significant portion of civil engineering work involves interaction with local communities, contractors, skilled workers, government officials, and regulatory authorities, where Marathi is the primary language of communication. Whether preparing site records, understanding local land documents, coordinating with field staff, supervising construction activities, or working in organizations such as the Public Works Department (PWD), Zilla Parishads, Municipal Corporations, Irrigation Department, MIDC, or Gram Panchayats, proficiency in technical concepts through Marathi enables engineers to communicate more effectively, make informed decisions, and execute projects with greater confidence and efficiency. It bridges the gap between technical knowledge and practical implementation, making our graduates better prepared for both public and private sector careers.
