      Construct a bridge which bears maximum load using Newspapers, Gum & Stapler

      PRIZES:

    • First: Rs 3000/-
    • Second: Rs 2500/-
    • Third: Rs 2000/-



      • RULES:

      • Maximum Three students per team
      • Size of bridge should be exactly 1m length X0.25m width X 0.75 height.
      • Total Time given for construction will be 60 minutes. Once bridge is constructed any addition or alteration will not be allowed.
      • Competition will start sharp at 12 o’clock.
      • Except New papers, fevicol, Stapler other material is not allowed, if used participant will be disqualified.
      • Only 1.5 kg. news papers and small fevical bottle,one thread rill will be provided for each team.
      • Top surface of the bridge must be flat. (On this flat surface a pan will be placed)
      • Bring your own stapler if required.
      • In first round, bridge should be safe for minimum load which will be specified on the day of event.
      • In second round in addition to minimum load, sand will be added in the pan to load the beam till it deflects.
      • While constructing the bridge minimum use of newspaper, construction in minimum time will be considered while evaluation.
      • Team which get maximum points will be winner.

      GUIDELINES

      • While pouring sand to measure load if bridge breaks then team will be disqualified.
      • 1 point per gram load bearing will be given.
