PCCoE Faculty Appraisal System

Faculty appraisal is a process meant to improve faculty performance and a technique that aids in personnel decisions. Faculty appraisal system is also a reviewing process of vitality of tenured academic members that ultimately refers to the faculty member's capacity and motivation to continue developing.

Primary Objectives

The primary objectives of the proposed PCCoE Faculty Self-Appraisal System are:

Transparent & Automated Appraisal Process which is in favor of faculty and organization
Evaluation based on Quality and Outcome
Supporting the Strengths of the individual in accordance with achieving the Institutional Goals
Strengthening the Institute's profile for Accreditations of NBA, NAAC, and NIRF rankings

The PCCoE fellowships for Informative and Insightful Faculty Website Development

What is Darpan?

PCCoE Darpan Fellowship is launched for encouragement of PCCoE Faculty Members having developed websites with more informative and insightful way.

PCCoE Darpan Fellowship is declared as per the following details.

The fellowship Reward: Rs 6000/- per head per annum
Duration of fellowship: 20 August 2021 to19 August 2022
Registrations/ Participation: Through the Google Form
Who can register: PCCoE Faculty Member (Except Deans, HoDs, Professors)
Scrutiny for Fellowships: After Faculty Registrations External Examiners will be Evaluating Websites

The evaluation will be done by external evaluators on the criteria including but not limited to

Website professional look,
Presence of appropriate information on website,
Content presentation on website,
Ease of browsing the website,
Overall design and thoughtfulness in website design,
Presence of Teaching-learning material on website
Interactive nature of the website
Availability of appropriate PCCoE Information on website
Number of Visitors
Overall Impression

The expected outcomes of the fellowships are…

Encouragement to faculty Members for more professionally maintaining their website
Branding of Individual faculty member along with Institute Branding
Availability of extensive Teaching-Learning Material by faculty member on websites
Creation of interest of faculty members towards making their websites more up-to-date, informative and interactive

The awardees of fellowships are required to submit the proposal of website improvement to Director Office.
