About PCCOE-IJBC KNOW JAPAN

In “PCCOE-IJBC KNOW JAPAN,” various technical and cultural activities are planned for two days. Technical events include technical seminars for engineering and science students, talks on higher education opportunities for engineering students, sessions for industry delegates, and so on. Similarly, many Japanese art exhibitions and cultural activities are planned to introduce visitors to Japan's amazing world and bring them closer to various aspects of Japanese culture and traditions.

The event will be organized at two levels, at the first level the industry delegates in the PCMC area will be invited as a participant, and at the second level, PCCOE students and students in the science colleges in the PCMC area will be invited as a participant.

The purpose of this event is to make the students aware about various learning avenues, career opportunities in Japan and to make the students aware about industries, education and work culture in Japan.

PCCOE has a Japanese Language club where 120 students are learning the Japanese language. Students’ interest in making a career in Japan is increasing day by day, so to nurture students’ interest and give them career opportunities in Japan, PCCOE-IJBC KNOW JAPAN event is organized.

Aims and Objectives of the Event

  • To celebrate 70 years of Indo-Japanese Relations
  • Make a restricted effort towards further enhancing Indo-Japanese association at the local level
  • Present Japan as one of the prospective career destinations to attendees
  • Provide an overview of business and collaboration opportunities in Japan to Industrial delegates
  • Provide realistic and authentic information about Education and Career opportunities in Japan to the prospective students
  • Help participants to Explore Job opportunities in Japan
  • Kindle an interest in Japan by organizing events on Japanese Society, Culture, Arts, Food, etc. from a tourism point of view
  • Explore Collaboration of Japanese Industries in India for training and placement opportunities
  • Explore the establishment of a dialogue with Japanese Universities for internships
