About M.Tech. Design Engineering

To fulfill the needs of industries, R&D Organizations, research laboratories the Department is offering PG course in Mechanical Design Engineering specialization with intake of 18 students started since 2012-13. The programme is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University & recognized by Govt. of Maharashtra & AICTE. For any Industry Design Engineering Department plays a vital role in the success of the product in the market. This course equips the students with advanced knowledge in various areas making him/her suitable as industry professional. Department has strong faculty base with 04 Professors, 03 Associate Professors, 36 Assistant Professors. Department is well equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories and software, up to date Vibration Analysis facilities. Department has student chapter in association with SAEINDIA, which provides platform for students to conduct activities at department level. The research and sponsored projects are undertaken in collaboration with TATA MOTORS, SKF, EATON, Forbes Marshall, WILO Mather Platt Pumps Ltd. JCB Ltd etc.
