Teaching and Learning Philosophy
Every student has plethora of learning opportunities throughout the semester. At

various teaching pedagogies are used which are apt for respective area; to name the few for marking outbound assignments, for HR various games and for finance live market screening etc. Vim and Vigor of students and faculty result in dynamic learning environment.

Development of Knowledge, Skill and Attitude is done throughout four semesters. A strong academic processes and co-curricular activities lead to excellence in profession development. Students come out with excellent projects and social activities.

Academic Governance

MBA Department

Academics is a core and most important component for professional development of students. At MBA Department academics monitoring and control is done at various level right from subject teachers to Dean Academics and finally by Principal. Every student has been assigned with a PTG to have checks and balances in academic and overall development. Students learning are linked to their concurrent evaluation. This linking helps student to earn desire credits in Choice Based Credit System of Savitribai Phule Pune University.

MBA Curriculum
Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) MBA has adopted Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) and Grading System in line with National policies and International practices focusing on 'Concurrent Evaluation' i.e. continuous evaluation throughout the programme & Supplementing traditional classroom teaching/learning with focus on group activity, field work, experiential learning, self-study, projects, etc.

The Programme comprises of 4 Semesters and adopts the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) and Grading System. An academic year is divided into two terms - I and II. Term I shall have Semester I and III, whereas Term II shall have Sem II and IV. In each semester, courses are offered in 15 teaching weeks and the remaining 5 weeks are to be utilized for conduct of examinations and evaluation purposes.

For the students, each week has 40 working hours spread over 5/6 days a week, consisting of lectures, tutorials, assignments, class participation, library work, special counseling, Sports, project work, field visit, youth welfare and social activities. Every course offered have Lecture, Tutorial and Practice components associated with the teaching-learning process.
