1) PCCOE MBA Students have participated in various Inter College and University level events and various competitions like Business Plan, Marketing Plan, Case Study Analysis and Foot ball, Cricket Tournaments.
2) PCCOE and SBPIM together has organized a Workshop Series for providing the additional input for MBA first year students
Depending on their specialization. This is a unique activity and appreciated by all students and faculties of PCCOE and SBPIM. These sessions were conducted for an entire day in a week which has helped them to understand the basics and making a concrete foundation for the selected specialization which will help the in making a bright career.
3) In Association with SBPIM, on 22nd Jan, 4th and 5th May 2011. All first year students of PCCOE MBA have appeared for Mock GD/PI Test. The objective of this test is to make students compatible for better placements in second year and also exercise and practice the same. Industry experts were invited for Aptitude test, Group discussion and Personal Interviews of the Students.
4) A guest lecture on “Analysis of Budget “was organized by MBA Department for first and second year MBA students. The session was conducted by Mr. Pramod Mahajan on 3rd March 2011. The session was highly interactive, analytical and dynamic.
5) A guest Lecture on “Seven Habits of Highly effective people” was organized on 5th Feb 2011 at SBPIM Seminar Hall. Prof. Woman Jawadekar enlightened the students about the achieving the highest efficiency. All students of MBA-I and MBA-II were highly appreciated the session. Students learned a lot about habits like be Proactive, Begin with the End, Put First Things First, Think Win-Win, Seek First to Understand, Synergize, Sharpen the Saw. The session was very interactive and dynamic.
6) The guest lecture on “Opportunities in Media Marketing” by Mr. Sumedh Gupte was conducted for MBA-I and MBA-II (Marketing) students on 2nd Feb 2011. The Session was very interactive and explored the opportunities in media marketing. This lecture was very useful for students for selecting the right career in marketing.
7) The guest lecture on Interview Skills and CV Drafting was conducted by Prof. Zahiruddin for MBA-I Students on 29th Jan and 5th Feb 2011. The Session was very much helpful for students to understand the Interview techniques and to prepare a customized CV according to the requirement of the job.
8) A guest lecture was conducted on 15th Jan 2011 by Mr. Pramod Jain on “Awakening a Winner in You”. All MBA-I and MBA-II Students were delighted by the knowledge. The guest lecture mainly focused on bringing awareness about one's environment, strengths, limitation and potential which can be tapped for making positive difference in life and motivation and urge to undertake challenging higher responsibilities in every walk of life. The session was dynamic and highly appreciated by students.
9) The guest Lecture on “Facing Career Challenges and Improving Brand Equity” was conducted by MBA Department 20th Jan 2011 by Prof. Itkar at PCCOE. The session was enriched with knowledge and liked by all students. The lecture mainly focused on the Career Challenges and way to face such challenges in career and life along with that6 how to maintain and improve the brand equity in market and work environment. The session was very interactive and appreciated by all students.
10) PCCOE in Association SBPIM has conducted a lecture series for MBA-I students for guiding them to select their specialization in second years. Following sessions were conducted :
a) Carriers in Marketing : The Lecture was conducted by Prof. D. K. Sakhore on 3rd Feb 2011
b) Careers in Human Resource: The Lecture was conducted by Prof. Kirti Dharwadkar on 4th Feb 2011
c) Careers in Finance : The Lecture was conducted by Mr. Pramod Jain on 2nd Feb 2011
11) A Guest Lecture was organized by MBA Department on “Climbing the Pyramid” on 21 Jan 2011 by Mr. Sharau Rangnekar. The Session was very useful for all the students to understand the practical aspect of Management in Life and Work. The Session highly appreciated by all MBA-I and MBA-II students.
12) All First year Students were divided in group of five students and they were assigned various companies from different sectors. Students have prepared and presented on the given company on every alternate Thursday and it was very fruitful and knowledge sharing activity.
13) Two Industrial Visits were arranged on 3rd Feb and 23rd Feb 2011 for MBA-I Students. They have visited Shiv Shakti Foods Pvt. Ltd. (Parle Unit), Talegaon and Sant Tukaram Sakhar Karkhana, Pune.
