Inspired by this Gandhian thought PCCoE always tries to put extensive efforts for overall development of engineering aspirants. In view of this aspect First Year Engineering Department initiated various activity clubs in the department from A. Y. 2013-14.
First Year Engineering Department initiated readers clubs in SEM I of A. Y. 2013-14 for the benefit of all the FE students. The main motive behind these clubs is to enrich the reading habit of students and to provide a proper stage to exhibit their talents. There is excellent collection of books related to English language communication, books related to self help, motivational books, biography, and autobiography to improve the soft skills of the students.
Poster competition was organized under readers club on 11th August 2015 wherein the posters were displayed for Exhibition on Independence Day under Readers club. The theme of the competition was “Fly High with Reading” .It aims to promote reading habit in students and should be able to know how reading supports success in famous personalities life.
The cultural club aims to promote students interest in music, dance, drama and other cultural activities. Cultural activities not only help students to identify themselves, but also enhance their social skills besides their professional education.
Cultural club conducted “Singing competition” on 16th March 2016 to provide the stage for students to show their talents. It was coloured with vibrant performance by the first year students, filled with variety of songs such as bhajan, classical songs etc.
Talent Hunt was organized by the FE department on 17th October 2015. Such activities encourage student’s interest, participation, and responsibility in the various fields through a medium of cultural club.
FE Department organized "Saraswati Sthapana" under Cultural Club on 8th January 2016. The program was organized and coordinated by Mrs Niharika Upadhyay, Mrs Renuka Purohit and Ms Falguni Bhavsar. The occasion was graced with the presence of Principal sir Dr. A. M. Fulambarkar, all Dean Academics, all HOD's, Coordinators & rectors. Departments were gifted by Saraswati idol as goddess of knowledge & wisdom by first year students of respective branches.

Poster Competition and Exhibition
A Poster Making Competition & a Poster Exhibition under Technoscience Club of FE Department was successfully organized for the students from 14th August 2015 to 15th August 2015. The event was organized with the objectives to provide a platform for first year engineering students to express and apply their innovative ideas and hidden talents in the competitive technological scenario and to give the exposure of new technological trends. Topics for Poster Making Competition & Exhibition were Wireless charging of Mobile phones, Tablet PC be a future of Computer, Wireless Transmission of electricity, Technologies that will disappear in next 5 years, Paperless world, Biomass Fueled Power Plant.
Tech Arena 2K16
“Tech-Arena 2K16” was organized by Techno-Science Club on 11th Jan 2016. Different activities like Technical Quiz Competition, Technical Video Presentation, Mini Project Competition, and Group Discussion were conducted. Students actively participated in the event. Mrs. P. A. Jog, Mr. P. R. Sonawane, Mr. J. S. Yadav coordinated the event.
Poster competition was organized for the FE students on 11th Jan 2016. The title for the competition was "Exploring IT World". Mrs. A. A. Tonge, Ms. M. A. Thorat, Ms. R. Hirwane, Ms. N. Pokale, Mr. A. Birajdar were the event coordinators.
Physics club is formed in FE department to stimulate the interest and understanding of students in the subject. Workshop was organized on 8th August 2015 .39 students from six divisions (A, B, C, D, I & J) actively participated in the workshop. They were able to clear their basic concepts and to develop curiosity for its practical application by assembling the kits related to basic fields of physics such as sound, waves, optics, mechanics, magnetism and electricity.
Poster competition was organized by the physics club on 12th August 2015 and displayed the posters for Exhibition on Independence Day under Physics club. Thirty nine students from six divisions (A, B, C, D, I & J) actively participated in the poster competition. Themes were given related to inventions, awards, and biographies of famous scientists in the field of mechanics, magnetism, electricity, optics, sound and waves which was already given as their group names.
Quiz competition was organized in First year Engineering Department on 31st October 2015. Twenty two students from six divisions (A, B, C, D, I & J) actively participated in the competition. The event was organized with an objective to evaluate their elementary concepts in basic fields of physics. The outcome of the event was, students were able to improve their team spirit, confidence and problem solving skills.
Photography Club aims to raise interest and to promote the art and craft of photography. The idea of forming this club was brought in light by the students of the FE department. Students can show their talent and skills in photography as well as in videos. Photography club was initiated in the FE department in the academic year 2015-16.At the end of academic year we are expecting a good collection of photographs, videos of all events and activities to be conducted in our department.
Competition was organized under Photography club for the students on 11th January 2016. The theme for the competition was “Solution to any one social issue”
